When you create a Markah account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored hashed - we never see it). When you build brand guidelines we store the content you create: brand names, descriptions, colors, fonts, and the files you upload.
We use your data to operate the service: storing your projects, rendering your published guideline pages, and sending transactional email (account verification, receipts). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
When you use "Generate with AI", the relevant brand details (name, industry, colors, tone words) are sent to our AI provider to produce the description. This content is not used to train AI models.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card details - we only keep your Stripe customer reference and current plan.
When you publish a guideline, its content becomes publicly accessible at its URL. Unpublishing removes public access within a minute.
You can update your profile name and password in Settings. To request account deletion or ask about your data, contact hello@bymarkah.com.
We use only essential cookies for authentication sessions. Our analytics (Plausible) is cookie-free.
